Pipeline: Correct one Compute address if unattached

Correct one compute address if unattached

Overview

Compute addresses are a costly resource to maintain, if they are unattached you will be accruing costs without any benefit; therefore unattached compute addresses should be released if not required.

This pipeline allows you to specify a single unattached compute addresses and then either send a notification or attempt to perform a predefined corrective action.

Whilst it is possible to utilise this pipeline standalone, it is usually called from the correct_compute_addresses_if_unattached pipeline.

Run the pipeline

To run this pipeline from your terminal:

flowpipe pipeline run gcp_thrifty.pipeline.correct_one_compute_address_if_unattached \
--arg 'address_name=<string>' \
--arg 'location=<string>' \
--arg 'project=<string>' \
--arg 'conn=<connection.gcp>' \
--arg 'title=<string>'

Use this pipeline

To call this pipeline from your pipeline, use a step:

step "pipeline" "step_name" {
pipeline = gcp_thrifty.pipeline.correct_one_compute_address_if_unattached
args = {
address_name = <string>
location = <string>
project = <string>
conn = <connection.gcp>
title = <string>
