Correct one EMR cluster idle for more than 30 mins

Overview

EMR clusters incur cost over time, so it's crucial to delete clusters that have been idle for more than 30 minutes.

This pipeline allows you to specify a single EMR cluster idle for more than 30 minutes and then either sends a notification or attempts to perform a predefined corrective action.

While this pipeline can function independently, it is typically invoked from the correct_emr_clusters_idle_30_mins pipeline.

Run the pipeline

To run this pipeline from your terminal:

flowpipe pipeline run aws_thrifty.pipeline.correct_one_emr_cluster_idle_30_mins \
--arg 'title=<string>' \
--arg 'id=<string>' \
--arg 'region=<string>' \
--arg 'cred=<string>'

Use this pipeline

To call this pipeline from your pipeline, use a step:

step "pipeline" "step_name" {
pipeline = aws_thrifty.pipeline.correct_one_emr_cluster_idle_30_mins
args = {
title = <string>
id = <string>
region = <string>
cred = <string>
}
}
